What the fuck HUN SEN is barking about forest? His corrupt officials are illegal loggers. I can tell the name Sok Ann is the the most corrupt! Chan Sarun does not have brain or care much about forests.
Trees act as windbreakers as well. Without trees you will get tornados, which is now a new phenomenon in Cambodia. Trees provides oxygen and cleans the air. They provide shelter to all kinds of flora and fauna. Cambodia is a small country, but rich in natural resources. But continued destruction will lead this country into a wasteland. Cambodians need to wake up, this is the only home that you have.
All the cutting have not enough excellent reason. I am very sad we have obtuse leaders.

Man let me tell you this,no one know more about forestry and ecology then the people who live in it for countless generation,they are the one that know anything about forestry,their very survival depend on it.Don’t count on guy like Chan Sarun to know anything about forestry.The native and the the forest have a symbiotic relationship.

World should get collectively to save this piece of green, as soon as possible, gosh the loggs are so huge…it must be 1000s of years ancient. Where are the wild animals will escape?
Sihanouk know one day Hun Sen will be gone,he’s coming up for Hun Sen weak moment to take back the throne,Sihanouk make his son king of Cambodia,he want his son to involve the bloodlines,they have no power at the moment,but when the right time come Sihanouk will side with Sam Rainsy,it’s possible that when Hun Sen is dead or step down,Sam Rainsy might choose to hand the power back to Sihanouk or keep it for himself,the king is not ready to throw away his kingdom,not just yet,he still have sons.

I agree, but they are too poor to take up the struggle against Hun Sen’s Cronies, We’d need a force of Khmer’s from external countries to help struggle… But for the most part, lets just hope Sam Rainsy wins, and reckon about taking a more direct approach to getting Rid of Hun Sen later, if worst comes to worst.
