This video is a prime example of serendipity. While wandering around Sarasota taking pictures, I just so happen to bump into Jaszy McAllister (who Ive recently only met on line) of Modern hippie Mag. We officially introduced ourselves and began to talk. The conversation soon unveiled that there was going to be a near by press event featuring the Beach Boys and a 1969 electric powered VW Squareback. So completely random and so completely awesome! Lucky for me, I had both my still and video camera with me. Forrest Shaw is the proud owner of this beautiful 1969 electric VW Squareback aka the Green Machine. The goal of the car is to have a green delivery operation for Pastry Art Bakery &#038; Cafe, Forrests downtown Sarasota hot spot, while promoting green living and green business. With the sponsored help of Pete Hanson, Braille Battery and The Hub this 68 Squareback will now live on as Sarasotas first green car.</p>
